Grassland is the story of a young biologist returning to her home town to get a glimpse of the next bird facing extinction in South Africa – the rare and elusive Montane Blue Swallow.
Katie Biggar is a marine biologist and an independent multimedia writer. She is passionate about environmental and ocean education and has written several conservation awareness articles which have been published with the Daily Maverick. She is currently working on several nature documentary projects as well as fiction projects as a writer and editor.
