This adaptation of the Irish song is an oneiric version of the water cycle in which a little Water Sprite falls in love with the Lennan-Shee, an Irish river nymph.
Lily Bernard is a concept artist at Cartoon Saloon, the Irish animation studio. After studying in France (EMCA), she settled in Kilkenny, Ireland. She started as a background designer on the Secret of Kells and later on Song of the Sea, the Breadwinner and Wolfwalkers (in production). She is also the co-creator and art director of the series Puffin Rock.
